Moving in just over a week
Sorry to have been remis, but I've been busy. Lot's to do in a move.
This next week is going to be the make or break, turn my hair gray week. The actual move is happening. Packers will be here, taking all my yarn (except what I can hide from them for something to do on the trip) and everything else.
We'll be in Alabama before Thanksgiving. YAY!
I'm still working on the afghans. It's what's keeping me sane. The loom panel one is kicking along. I'm on the last panel and have less than 6 pattern repeats to complete the panels. WOOHOO! I'll be putting it together after we're settled in. After Dec 1 when we get the rental.
Wish me luck. I'll catch you up when I get there.

Love Alabama
Hubby and I went to Alabama this weekend to look for a place for the family to live. We found a few good prospects, and drove around, inspecting the area.
Wow, what a beautiful place. The town is small, but large, metropolitain cities are within a short driving distance. No problem. Being from California, ALL drives are long ones, so short ones aren't a big deal.
I will have to look around to find my craft stores, but I'm sure I'll find some without any difficulties.
On the planes, taking my #7 steel crochet hook raised no eyebrows, but my meds did. They had to be in a zipper clear quart bag with the labels on them that show who they belong to. Just so you know.
What else. I'm working on the afghans still, and a filet crochet wolf baying at the moon. It's coming out really nice (and I took it on the plane to work on cause it's small).
I think that's it for now. The oldest and I are still packing. Her room today. Doing a cleen sweep and taking everything out of the room, cleaning it, packing the things she's going to keep and the rest... bye-bye.
LOL
Lots and lots to do.

Boxes and Boxes of Crafts
Hey everyone.
Yes. I'm going to be moving within the next couple of months, so I started boxing my crafts and yarn (that isn't being used for a project at the moment). So far, I have 10 boxes of yarn and 6 boxes of crafts, and that's not all of them. sigh. Lots of work still to do.
Oh, my laptop doesn't have a floppy drive and my camera uses floppys, so pictures will have to wait. grrr. I have one on the desktop, but naturally, it's acting tempermental.
I'll post asap. Mom is trying to find me an external floppy drive. Good luck mom.

Knit/Crochet/Loom
I have afghans going in all these formats.
I have a loom afghan going on the Yellow Knifty Knitter Loom for my youngest. (2/3rds done with that one).
I have a knit afghan on a round set of knitting needles. Navy Blue.
I have my hubby's afghan started on J hook. From cream to dark brown. 4 shades. Just started.
Don't forget the oldest daughter's afghan. Crochet basket weave, large squares, shades of purple, J hook.
Son's is three shades of green in a nice G Hook ripple stitch. Just started yesterday.
Let us not forget my own ghan. It is more of an ongoning montage of squares I'm making from dishcloth patterns out of bright, loud, obnoxious acrylic, double strand yarn, made on my home made rake loom.
That's what I'm working on to relieve stress.
Yes, I have a lot of stress at the moment. Sigh.
I'll take pics of them all, in progress, later today and post them, hopefully tonight.

Tree Sprite is OUT!!!
Yes, I know this is my craft blog, but heck, if I don't sell some books, I can't buy yarn.
Anyway, if you are interested, are over 18 (because the story is risque,*and monogamous*), like a little fantasy and romance, and have a little time to spare, try my book. It is available at Samhain Publishing and from there it will take you to the purchase site.
Thanks for considering it... At least read the blurb.
